About Julie Cirelli
Julie Cirelli is editor of Harvard Design Review at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design in Cambridge.
Formerly editor-in-chief of Kinfolk Magazine in Copenhagen and editor-in-chief of Arvinius + Orfeus publishing in Stockholm, she has written about design and architecture for a variety of publications, including Frieze, Artforum, Form and Icon magazines. Julie has previously worked as an editor at Phaidon Press, Form Magazine for Nordic Architecture and Design and in the editorial department of the New York Times. She has a master’s degree from Columbia University in New York and has been awarded numerous fellowships and grants for her research into the social and political aspects of architecture and design, most recently from Yaddo and Nordic Culture Point.
